Diesel generator set generators

Rebuilt generators are a complete, ready-to-use product that eliminates the long waiting time for a generator to rewind in a specialized workshop. Cat Reman generators are rebuilt with Caterpillar process control and are constantly tested, just like the innovative Cat generators. They are delivered without a block container, which allows you to significantly expand the functionality and area of operation.

Cylinder blocks with and without heads

They are disassembled, washed according to the strictest cleanliness requirements and inspected for gaps, cracks and other damage. Mating cylindrical surfaces are ground according to the factory conditions. Crankshafts can be ground, polished, and tested for axial and radial runout. All bearings, gaskets and seals, and piston rings are replaced with new Cat components. All cylindrical blocks are electronically tested to ensure quality and long service life.

Cylindrical block heads

When performing rebuilding, the heads are checked for cracks and other defects by magnetic flaw detection, they are modernized taking into account the latest changes. The mating surface are ground to ensure a tight fit to the cylinder block and to prevent gas and coolant leaks. All broken parts are replaced with new Cat components. Cat Reman cylinder heads are pressurized to test for leaks before leaving production.

Crankshafts

They are checked for cracks and other defects by magnetic flaw detection. The necks are processed to roughness, cylindricality and positional tolerances, thereby increasing the service life.

Cylinder-piston groups

Cat Reman is carried out using Caterpillar components. Only Caterpillar pre-assembles parts into a single piece, reducing rebuilding times by up to 25%.

Electronic control units

Cat Reman has its own line of reconstructed electronic control units, which provides thorough diagnostics and full rebuilding with all necessary improvements. Electronic control units are tested to verify their operating potential.

Flywheels

They are reconstructed according to production technical standards. Their surface is processed in the factory, which makes it possible to increase the smooth operation of the engine and improve the running-in of the clutch. The ring gears are checked and, if necessary, replaced.

High pressure fuel pumps and crankshaft’s speed regulators

All gaskets and broken elements are replaced with modern ones. Pumps with regulators are computer tested according to 20 criteria, which guarantees superpower and efficiency.

Oil coolers

When rebuilding Cat oil coolers, pipes and end discs are replaced to increase reliability and improve performance. Oil coolers undergo the same tests as new ones.

Turbochargers

The body tightness is checked. All parts are replaced in order to extend the operating period and improve technical performance. All rotating assemblies go through dynamic balancing on the equipment that is used in the manufacture of new turbochargers.

Unit injectors and fuel injectors

The components are demountable and can be washed. Parts are checked for quality and reliability. The use of innovative solutions ensures that the components meet the technical specifications. All seals are replaceable. The injectors can be tested with the same technique for compliance with the technical criteria.

Water and oil pumps

They are improved in accordance with the latest innovations. All their components can be replaced with new ones. Rebuilt pumps undergo the same tests as new ones.
